R.A. the Rugged Man, one of hip hop's more original acts.
Stream-of-consciousness or whatever's annoying me at the time...typically boring American blogginess.

Inappropriate Test Response
Pretty Picture
Wiki - Pretty Picture from Letter Racer on Vimeo.
I'd much rather listen to some real HipHop than the (c)rap on the radio. Wiki has got a great start here.

Another kid about the same age as my son. Note the hoodies...

Look at this kid.
Both 17. Both with little brothers. The one up top, though, is dead.
My heart goes out to his parents, family and friends. Their pain is nearly unimaginable to me. I know that I could not be as calm as they are during this time.
As part of the national discourse on Trayvon Martin's death, people are using "Black-on-White crime" statistics to defend the police chief & Trayvon's killer, Zimmerman. I'm not posting links or references because it sickens me. If you have any sort of objectivity combined with any knowledge of search engines, then all you need to do is search. You'll see what I'm talking about.
The bottom line is this: An unarmed child on a parent-sanctioned errand was stalked, attacked and slain by an armed adult who outweighed him by 100 lbs. and who, subsequently, lied about his actions. In what culture is this acceptable behavior. Melanin, genotype and phenotype have nothing to do with this CRIME. We can disagree on this. It IS a free country. But, stay away from me if you think behavior like that is in ANY way acceptable.
